2/8/ 2026 7pm- 8:30pm
This is a Zoom Course - registration is through the Littleton Studio School
Introduction: This class explores the dynamic, often surprising nature of color. This class will teach artists how to see color more clearly and use it more effectively in their work.
Class Description: Participants will engage in hands-on color exercises to explore the relativity of color, value perception, simultaneous contrast, and harmonious combinations. Using cut paper and painted swatches, students will investigate how colors interact and shift depending on context. Historical approaches and color mixing methods from classical painting traditions will also be examined to provide a comprehensive understanding of color.
