6 Week Course in Shamanism and Drawing

Course Title:

Dreaming the Sacred: Exploring Shamanism, Meditation, and Drawing

Course Description:

Step into a journey of creative exploration and inner awakening in this immersive six-week course. "Dreaming the Sacred" invites you to connect deeply with your own consciousness and creativity through the ancient practices of shamanism, dreaming, and drawing. Each week, participants will experience a guided meditation paired with sound healing techniques that invoke the visionary states of dreaming. From this heightened awareness, you will engage in spontaneous, intuitive drawing as a way to interpret and manifest the imagery, insights, and emotions uncovered during these sessions.

This course offers a unique blend of spiritual practice and artistic exploration, helping you bridge the gap between the inner world of dreams and the outer world of creative expression. No prior drawing or shamanic experience is required—just an open mind and heart. Through weekly Zoom sessions, you'll build a community with fellow participants as we explore sacred symbolism, dream states, and personal transformation through art.

Tuition: $300 for the entire six-week program.

All sessions will be recorded for those who wish to revisit the content or miss a class. Materials needed include a sketchbook, drawing utensils (pencils, charcoal, or pastels), and an open, creative mind.

Payments are through Venmo: @Adhi-TwoOwls

SHAKER MAKING Weekend with Adhi Two Owls

   Saturday, Oct.25, 12pm-6pm
   Sunday, Oct.26, 11am-1pm   Cost: $180

Some sacred things come in dreams and this magical tool is one of them. After many months of walks along the beach and collecting shells and things in my early training, this sacred sound instrument appeared in my dreams. I have been making them and teaching workshops to create them.

The sound is like water or the wind. It is tactile. Loud and subtle.
It is an instrument of healing, ceremony and meditation.
The sound is complex and full of many voices.

  • Participants will explore sounds and an abundance of materials to create their sacred shaker.

  • We will journey and weave our sounds together into a community healing circle to birth our shakers into the world.

Materials provided.
You can bring things that you want to weave into your shakers to add personal meaning.
Please Bring Scissors.

This practice is done in the morning outside while the sun is rising, to set your body for the day.

We will start promptly at 7:00am outside in the grass behind the AdhiZen Studio. Wear loose weather appropriate clothing.

Solstice Drum Making Retreat

  • Awakening to The Heart Sanctuary (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Summer Solstice weekend come join Adhi in retreat at Awakening the Heart Sanctuary for a sacred drum birthing emmersion. The drum is one of the oldest instruments. It is said that the universe conspired to bring the humans the trees together by teaching them how to make a drum so they would have a common language. It though this language we sing to our ancestors among the stars.

This is a part retreat.

Friday night we bless the hides to soak and begin the process of connecting to our drum’s spirit. We will work on putting prayers and symbols in and on our frames. Listening to the heart. Taking a journey to meet the spirit of our drum.

Saturday we will cut the laces for drums and make offerings, do another journey to connect and pull our drums. Throughout the day Adhi will share about the history of the drum amid teachings from many different traditions. We will finish the day by setting our drums to dry and going on a deep heart journey.

Sunday we awaken our drums, learn how to care for them and invite the community in to witness a celebration their birthing into the with a ceremony and celebration.

You will be making a 16 inch drum and mallet. All materials will be provided.

Participants will need to bring scissors and a towel or blanket to work on.

Registration is through Awakening the Hear Sanctuary. Follow their link to register and other logistics.
