Art Book Making for Storytelling

In this class participants will create an art book to tell at story. Art books use the form of book to loosely generate an object that pushes the boundaries of what a book is and how it can be utilized for exploring ideas.

Participants will used a variety of materials and learn binding techniques to express their unique style and visual language. We will explore ways to visually tell a story and look at example for art books by women artists.

Join Adhi for a full-day immersive experience of art and nature along the scenic Ammonoosuc River. This 3.25 (6.5 round trip)-mile guided hike follows the peaceful rail trail, offering opportunities to explore, observe, and sketch the dynamic landscape of Northern New Hampshire. Along the way, we will stop to identify native plants, listen for and identify local bird species, and take in the geology and ecology of this vibrant riverside habitat…..

Abstraction & Expression Through Mixed Media

Collage, drawing, painting and mark making can be a deeply exploratory way to discover and communicate ideas and concepts. In this class the goal isn't finished product but a journey to know the shelf better. Starting with large sheets of paper and a wide variety of drawing, painting, collaging materials participants will each build an image that explores inner landscapes, abstract ideas and dreams.

Dreaming the Sacred: Exploring Shamanism, Meditation, and Drawing

Course Description:

Step into a journey of creative exploration and inner awakening in this immersive six-week course. "Dreaming the Sacred" invites you to connect deeply with your own consciousness and creativity through the ancient practices of shamanism, dreaming, and drawing. Each week, participants will experience a guided meditation paired with sound healing techniques that invoke the visionary states of dreaming. From this heightened awareness, you will engage in spontaneous, intuitive drawing as a way to interpret and manifest the imagery, insights, and emotions uncovered during these sessions.

This course offers a unique blend of spiritual practice and artistic exploration, helping you bridge the gap between the inner world of dreams and the outer world of creative expression. No prior drawing or shamanic experience is required—just an open mind and heart. Through weekly Zoom sessions, you'll build a community with fellow participants as we explore sacred symbolism, dream states, and personal transformation through art.

Tuition: $300 for the entire six-week program.

All sessions will be recorded for those who wish to revisit the content or miss a class. Materials needed include a sketchbook, drawing utensils (pencils, charcoal, or pastels), and an open, creative mind.

Fall Equinox Community Healing & Sound Circle

The Community Healing & Sound Circle will be held inside the yurt.

We will come together to drum, sound, sing and be witness to each other. Singing and music making is balm for the soul and resonates out into the world as prayer and intentions. We make a joyful noise to bring joy to this world.

All are welcome. Interfaith. 

Bring an instrument to play or be creative. Some will be available if you do not have one.
