Images Of The Natural World Gallery
This gallery presents close observations of seeds, flowers, stones, weathered surfaces, ocean waves, and other elemental forms that shape the natural environment. These photographs focus on the structures, textures, and repeating patterns found in living and geological systems—details that often go unnoticed but form the foundation of my visual language in drawing, painting, and craft.
Each image is a study in how nature organizes itself through growth, erosion, movement, and time. Lines, curves, fractures, spirals, and surfaces become reference points for my studio work, informing everything from mark-making to compositional development. The camera serves as a tool for examining these forms directly, allowing me to translate the clarity of natural patterns into other media with precision and intention.
This collection reflects an ongoing practice of observation: looking closely, understanding how texture becomes structure, and recognizing how small details carry the same dynamics seen on larger scales. These photographs offer viewers an opportunity to see the natural world through that same lens—attentive, grounded, and focused on the quiet intelligence present in every material and form
